Cellular phones these days are so common that almost everyone you know has one or even two. It depends on which part of the world that you're in. Places like the Philippines, which is considered as the text messaging capital of the world emphasize the importance of having keypads that can keep up with their rate of sending text messages. In other countries where voice calls and direct e-mail forwarding are more prevalent features of their phones, phones like PDA phones and internet phones are all the craze apparently. It's all just the matter of who wants what built in on their phones these days. So which type of cellular phone person are you?
1. PDA phones, are you up for it?
If you're the type of person who's into making a lot of phone calls and is on the move all the time, this type of phone is definitely a good choice for you. Having a PDA phone is definitely an advantage for you if you're not stuck up in the office all day. You could put your schedule in so you would never miss an appointment or a lunch date again even if your secretary forgets to remind you. You can do anything on PDA phones nowadays. You can check and send emails, finish your reports, practically anything that's work related or non-work related. It's a godsend to some people, if you can get the hang of how to use it that is. Gone are the days where you have to bring your planner along with you at all times. Now all it takes is a touch of a couple of buttons here and there, a swish and swoosh of the stylus and you're all set.
2. Internet capable phones
People are going gaga over these kinds of phones lately. At first there was the sidekick, the blackberry, and now here comes the ever popular iPhone. It's a barrage of new models out there. How can one actually decide out of the many brands and makes one can choose from? It seems like deals are getting sweeter and sweeter these days that sometimes it seems like getting a cellular phone is a lot cheaper than owning a landline. People in America, are also catching on to the text messaging craze that's going on halfway around the world. To top that off, people have also grown accustomed to instant messaging while on your mobile. It's a pretty nifty feature, one that'll make every teenage boy and girl want to have one. They never like to be away from their friends, right?
3. Ordinary Cellular phones
Does a word such as ordinary still even exist in the market today? Cellular phone manufacturers and designers these days are so competitive that they try to jam in as much features as humanly possible into one piece of electronic device. It's undeniable, features like cameras, colored screens, mp3, video and internet are even already considered as standards these days. And to think that it's only been about 2 decades or so since the first batch of mobile phones came out to the market. At first they looked as big as bricks, now they're as thin as chocolate bars and really light as well.
